Meet Ilona

“My story is a common one. I have struggled with weight my whole life.”

 

Growing up in a Polish-Canadian family heavy comfort foods were served daily and exercise was sparse. Still, through my teens and twenties I managed to yo-yo myself into the occasional goal weight.
Until I had my daughter five years ago…. The pounds piled on quicker than I could manage and stuck on like a clingy toddler.

 

In the two years I’ve been in China I’ve watched the expat community around me literally change shape. Everyone kept praising the K2Fit program and the amazing lifestyle change it had brought into their lives. I decided to try one more thing.

 

Within weeks my clothes became loose and my energy levels got higher. Daily exercise was a challenge at first but the results became addictive.
The biggest surprise of all was the fact that I began to enjoy the exercise part of the program. Within weeks I was doing one to two CrossFit classes, two boxing classes, two body-combat classes and one Zumba class per week. On top of that I stuck to my K2Fit workouts. For the first time in my life I was one of those exercise people.

 

As I slimmed down everyone began to notice and compliment me. My confidence grew and that “I’m actually doing this!” feeling took me the rest of the way. A huge part of my success and motivation came from the supportive K2Fit community and from my husband who went above and beyond for me.

 

The confidence, energy, health and perspective I have gained over the last ten weeks eclipse the simple goal of “wanting to be skinnier”.  Although my after pictures look like many peoples before shots they are beautiful to me because they represent the beginning of a new life where I can be the very best version of myself, the one that I had given up on so long ago. This is just the beginning.…
