“K2Fit taught me to be kind to myself and empathies with myself… Like Coach Kara’s TedX talk”

 

When I first started, I saw an ad for a free trial, the 14-days to FIT. At that time, I was travelling for work and feeling fed up with how I looked and how i felt physically. I’ll admit, I didn’t finish those first 14-days… It’s hard to get into the routine and it’s hard to start again from scratch. But I knew I wanted to feel better about myself and I wanted to give it another go.

 

So when information about the 10-week Challenge came out, I decided not to give up on myself and jump in to try again. That was a turning point for me. The support from the coaches, teams, the captains, the whole K2Fit community was a fitness lifesaver. I’d never experienced a coaching program with so much value, so much time and care put into creating something that gave real motivation, inspiration and most of all, kindness.

 

All I had to do was follow the amazing programs as best as I could, with the easy step-by-step directions…and then, when I needed, just ask for help and keep moving forward day to day.

 

Sometimes I was way too hard on myself, going through the process and not remembering how far I’d come from when I first started. Those days when I fell down or thought I wasn’t doing good enough, that’s where the community had my back and reminded me of how well I was doing. I’m so thankful I had the community support. I wouldn’t have hit my goals without it!

 

And I think that was my biggest lesson…

 

Step by step and day to day, I have been able to continue on and make steady progress. In each season of K2Fit, I focus on making small but sustainable changes and improvements. One of the biggest transformations I’ve noticed is that I’ve built more strength and can even do push ups now! Trust me, that’s big for me!

 

With everything K2Fit and the community has taught me, I’m fitter and leaner than I have been for at least 15 years!
