“After letting myself go, my life is back on track!”

I joined K2Fit for the first time because a good friend of mine suggested I join his team. My team captain, the great ‘Captain Morgainz’ (Andy Board) had watched me slowly fall apart over the years. He was keen to get me back in the gym, and back on track with my life. He said he used to wish he had my body, and that was when I looked in the mirror and realised that I had let myself go in many ways. It was time to change.


Even though the world was amid the covid outbreak, my wife and I signed up for Season 11. Unfortunately the day the challenge started, all gyms around Australia closed down. Luckily for us, Kara’s home workout plan, and the team spirit that comes with K2Fit kept us going and we saw amazing results!


Since that first time Captain Morgainz asked me to join, I have been hooked and join time and time again. I was in the habit of letting myself go, then going again, repeat, repeat. This challenge makes me feel better, look better, and I’m now staying in shape all year round. Both my wife and I really do enjoy being healthier, looking, and feeling our best.


Everyone knows the major changes that happen with being healthy, but it’s all the little things that really add up and make you realise that it’s all worth it. Having the energy to walk to the park and play with our son, feeling refreshed at work after morning workouts, and training together with my wife has really brought us sooooo much closer and given us a great shared passion. We have managed to become a healthy, happy couple that feel confident about the way we look, and have definitely become more active with our energetic 3 year old.
